Penney Mazda Cape to Cabot 20K Road Race
The Cape to Cabot 20K Road Race is NLAA sanctioned, and is part of the Championship Series. Hosted by Athletics NorthEAST, it was first held in 2007. The course is tough - steep hills and suspect weather - but beautiful vistas from North America's most eastern tip to one of its most famous landmarks atop Signal Hill, in its oldest City. An extremely well-organized event with transport to the start, a grand buffet-reception, and a unique sand-blasted Newfoundland slate finishers' medal. Bravo!
