Barachois Pond Provincial Park
The lower part of the trail is an easy boardwalk that leads to a lookout over Barachois Pond and the campground. The upper part climbs to 340 meters for a panoramic view of St. George's Bay, the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Long Range Mountains. Round Trip time is two hours.

Blow Me Down Provincial Park
A 30-minute climb through 450 million year old volcanic rock to a tower overlooking the Bay of Islands, Lark Harbour and York Harbour. Trailheads are at the day use area and the camping loop.

Grand Bay
10-km board walk and has a panoramic view of Grand Bay West, the beaches and the long Range Mountains. Lookout has rest benches and interpretation panels. Outdoor exercise equipment at each of the lookout points. Sit and watch farm animals. Looking for a relaxing adventure, grand bay west trail is the perfect place to get away.

This 7-8 hour very strenuous trail winds 16-kms to the top of Gros Morne Mountain and back. The trailhead is located on Route 430, 3-kms south of the Visitors Centre.

Climb the steps to the top of Man-O-War hill for spectacular scenery. From the top of the hill, you can see all of Ramea Islands, White Bear Bay, and miles of surrounding coastline.

Flower's Cove
The only access to surrounding communities in the 1900’s. Thrombolites are primitive life forms, bun-shaped, these unicellular critters left a good size trace of their existence in the fossil record.

Cow Head
Easy 1.5-2 hour, 4km walk between the sand dunes and the campground at Shallow Bay. Leaves from the day use area. Wonderful dappled light and access to sandy beach.
