La Manche Provincial Park
This very popular destination has several access point: 6.4-km from Tors Cove; 4km from St. Michael's; 2.7-km from Bauline East (all ECT); rough trail from end of La Manche Road; 1.25-km from La Manche Provincial Park.Trail through/from Bauline East includes steep climb. Main attraction is abandoned La Manche village access by restored 50 metre suspension bridge.

5.5-km trail between Ferryland and Aquaforte. Allow 2-3 hours. Easy/moderate. Attractions include Colony of Avalon, lighthouse, picnicking, cobble beach, waterfall.

Carbonear
A terrific walk around a 500 meter boardwalk that surrounds Carbonear and Rossiters Pond. Feed the ducks, take in the naturalization surrounding the pond or visit our new regional community centre.

La Manche Provincial Park
14.5-km trail between La Manche village and Brigus South. Allow 6-9 hours. Moderate / difficult. Attractions include the abandoned La Manche village, eagles, whales, seabirds, woodlands and rugged coastline.

Ferryland
5.2-km trail between Calvert and Ferryland. Allow 1.5-2 hours. Easy. Attractions include offshore islands, meadows, cobble beaches, old railway route, stone church, easy family walking.

La Manche Provincial Park
A 2.5 km, 1-hour return trip from the picnic area to an abandoned Village of La Manche. The foundations of houses and out-buildings are all that remain. A Magical place. Access to the East Coast Trail. La Manche Falls Trails is a 1-hour hike from the parking area and along the riverbank to a waterfall.

18.3-km trail between Cape Broyle and Calvert. Allow 6-10 hours. Difficult/strenuous. Attractions include sea kayaking nearby, sea arch, great coastal views, sea caves, waterfowl, Devil's Staircase, meadows, abandoned community, offshore islands.

A centre for the history and traditions of wooden boat building. Featuring exhibits, cultural experiential building workshops and gift kiosk.

7-km trail between Witless Bay and Mobile. Allow 2-3 hours. Easy. Attractions include beach-combing on pebble beaches, picnicking, whale and seabird watching.

Port Kirwan
17.1-km trail between Aquaforte and Port Kirwan. Allow 6-9 hours. Difficult. Attractions include barren, view of Aquaforte fjord, spectacular rock sea arch at Berry Head, meadows, cobble beach, waterfall, seabirds, offshore islands.

Aquaforte
2.9-km trail in Aquaforte. Allow 1-3 hours (there are several alternate loops to choose from). Easy. Gentle family hiking. Attractions include former whale factory, waterfall, saltwater estuary. Watch out for rising tides that floor the seaside route at Soil Rock.

Witless Bay
7.3-km trail between Bay Bulls and Witless Bay. Allow 2-4 hours. Easy-moderate. Attractions include walking through woods and meadows. excellent ocean views of Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, sea stacks, seabirds, whales.

Sunnyside, Trinity Bay
This fitness trail starts near the Lions Community Centre, about 4 km from the Trans Canada Highway, and takes you across Badger Brook to a picnic area where you can enjoy a rest or a lunch.

Norman's Cove
Walking/hiking trail along the edge of the Atlantic. Hike to the top of the hill to get a great view of Trinity Bay. In season, view humpback whales.

Logy Bay
Cobbler Path opened June 6, 2010 and runs from Torbay Point to Logy Bay. Access points are at Doran's Lane and Red Cliff Road

St. John's
This difficult 1.7-km trail on Signal Hill from Cabot Tower to Lower Battery Road descends almost 500 feet over stairs, boardwalk and footpath. Incredible view of The Narrows.
