Dhoon Lodge

Black Duck Siding

Dhoon Lodge is a country retreat made of logs and dates back to the early 1940's. It was constructed by the Bowaters as a private VIP lodge to showcase the area's rich fishing and wild game hunting. The restaurant is located on 20plus acres of scenic grounds with an exclusive par 3 golf course and only metres to "Harry's River" , one of the best salmon rivers in Newfoundland Labrador. The restaurant is very rustic and has a gallery of pictures of the Antartic Expedition headed by Captain Victor Campbell, and boasts a floor to ceiling rock fireplace that adds to the rustic decor.
