Tuach Garden & Arboretum
Started in 1992, development is ongoing. Large collection of non-native trees and flowering shrubs at various stages of maturity. A variety of introduced beech, birch, maple, oak, cedar, pine, spruce, locust, linden, willow, etc and flowering shrubs. Also present is a large native yellow birch, a Norway spruce and two apple trees – all likely centenarians. Occupying approx. 5 acres, walking trails allow access throughout. Access to Pynn’s Brook Beach, Deer Lake and Newfoundland Trailway.
