Boat Building Workshop


Wooden Boat Building Workshops offer visitors the opportunity to learn the skills required to build a traditional Newfoundland punt or dory. Guided by boat builder, participants can take part in afternoon, full-day, or week-long workshop for a unique cultural experience suitable for the whole family (ages 13+). Children’s Workshops (ages 7-12) also available.

Workshops are offered at three levels with each level increasing in duration, material covered and skills developed. We also host Boats in the Harbour events at locations across the Province.
