The Victoria Park Lantern Festival
Arguably the city's best-kept summertime secret with a diverse array of afternoon activities and performances. Join in by making your own lantern during the day to carry in the procession after dark. The lantern installation and fire show that cap the night will take your breath away. A truly multicultural event. Our lanterns take the forms of puffins, houses, stars, dragons and their ilk - designs limited only by the imagination - and a hidden river magically reveals itself in lights.

Watch Chris explain the word duckish. Here’s a hint: it has nothing to do with ducks. Or maybe it does?
