East Coast Trail - Cape Spear Path

11.5-km, 4-6 hour moderate hike between Cape Spear and Maddox Cove. From the easternmost point in North America the trail follows the coast southward. Attractions along the way include a World War II coastal defence battery, whales, seabirds, a bakeapple bog and the abandoned hamlet of Staffordside.
