Rose Blanche Lighthouse

Rose Blanche

Built in 1871 with stone from a nearby granite quarry and restored in 1999, the Rose Blanche Lighthouse stands as a proud sentinel of our shores. The attached lightkeeper's living quarters is furnished with locally reproduced 19th century furniture and local antiques. The lighthouse was designated a Registered Heritage Structure on Sept 7, 2002 - the first Lighthouse to be thus recognized.
