Newfoundland Insectarium
Opened in 1998 this Multi-award winning attraction is housed in a beautifully restored historic building. Features live and mounted exhibits from throughout the world. Large gift shop, nature trails, ice cream shop, and plenty of parking. A Butterfly Garden with live tropical butterflies, an observation bee hive, leafcutter ants and a unique gift shop features local crafts as well as souvenirs for all ages. Welcoming over 20,000 visitore each season this is a "must see" destination.
