Centre Hill is an old volcano and the the highest point in eastern Newfoundland (384 metres). At the top, you will enjoy a spectacular, panoramic view. The trail crosses a river, then winds through forest, barrens and a bakeapple marsh before a steep 400-metre climb to the top. The trail is 5 km each way (10 km total). Plan for half a day.
