Trail begins with 164 steps leading up the side of a cliff, several landings along the way with picnic tables and rest areas. An artists/photographers delight. Excellent for viewing icebergs, the bay, the town (binoculars provided),look outs along the trail offers a fantastic view of the area. The location of Newfoundland's worst sealing disaster as depicted in the book Death on the Ice. Walk the rugged shoreline of Barr'd Island will also yield unique sea rock formations and sea caves.
