In July and August the Heritage Research Centre features traditional craft demonstrations, botanical walking tours with a sampling of Labrador tea, workshops and seminars... always something interesting! The Heritage Research Centre is available for use by educational / interested organizations for field courses, research and workshops. Offers flexible teaching, meeting, working, gallery areas and comfortable living spaces, all set against the inspiring backdrop of the Point Amour Lighthouse.

Amenities

The Centre showcases the natural and cultural history of the Labrador Straits with a variety of programs and exhibits. The Centre is available for use by educational and interested organizations for field courses, research and workshops. Nearby is the L'Anse Amour Burial Mound NHS and other archeological sites, Beaches, Berry Picking, Hiking & walking Trails, Lighthouses, Lookout/Viewing Point, Natural Scenic Attractions, and Wildlife.

There are hostel style accommodations available at the HRC. Programs,events,and exhibits are covered under admission to Provincial Historic Site.
