16 km loop, 6-8 hour strenuous hike climbs 800 m to the Park's highest mountain. The view from the top is renowned: Arctic-alpine habitant, views of Ten Mile Pond, Long Range Mountains, wildlife sightings and wildflowers. It is very important to be well-prepared before undertaking this hike, check with Parks Canada staff. Dogs are not allowed on Gros Morne Mountain.
