Park surrounds the Johnson Geo Centre on Signal Hill Road. It features eight looped walking trails covering 1.6km, views of the city, storyboards that cover the geology and botany.

This park was established because of the scenic La Manche valley, interesting and varied habitat and vegetation, as well as the diverse bird life. The park includes Rowsells Hill Pond, La Manche Ponds, a selection of the La Manche River, and the abandoned fishing village of La Manche.

A 2.5 km, 1-hour return trip from the picnic area to an abandoned Village of La Manche. The foundations of houses and out-buildings are all that remain. A Magical place.
