Way Out East
Find the edge of the earth
The Discovery Trail (230 km)
From Cabot to Cormack to Coaker, from Trinity to Bonavista to Brooklyn, and from the fertile farmland of Lethbridge to the windswept plain around the Dungeon, the Discovery Trail takes you through time, myth and legend into a reality that will leave you wondering if seeing really is believing.
The Heritage Run (463 km)
The Heritage Run is steeped in colorful history. Located on the Burin Peninsula, the trail differs from the rest of the province in both geography and outlook. Separated from the seat of political power in St. John’s for centuries. The Burin Peninsula developed its own trade links with the eastern seaboard and beyond. Its dialects, its traditional set and square dances, and its architecture are all unique.
An Outport Adventure Cruise - The Southwest Coast by Boat - Part 3
The final leg of the cruise takes you via passenger coastal boat from Pool’s Cove on Route 362 to the isolated hamlet of Rencontre East at the bottom of Fortune Bay and on to Bay L’Argent on Route 212 and the Heritage Run on the Burin Peninsula.
